Manage your workload

As a student, it's important to work toward quick completion of your program of study. However, what's most important is maximizing what you are able to learn and experience in your time at Salem State.

This means that you must be aware of the expectations from your courses, and obligations outside of the classroom. Using that information, you must develop a plan of study that allows you to make the most out of your opportunity to learn. If it seems like you have taken on more than you can handle, acknowledge that, and contact your professors or the staff at Project SAEL for guidance and assistance.

If you need to drop or withdraw from a course, do so as soon as possible in order devote yourself to your other coursework and help the grant maintain funds to support more students. Here is the university's Refund Policy.
