Encouraging financial literacy in high schools

The column Encouraging financial literacy in high schools states that more than 17 states in our country have required a course in financial education for high school students and asks the question: Why doesn’t Massachusetts? The column continues to talk about a financial literacy elective course at Salem High School and the benefits of these types of courses for all students.
