LCPS: Dual-language model helps English, Spanish speakers alike

In Las Cruces Public Schools in New Mexico, bilingual education has changed. It is now an enrichment program. They are using the Gomez and Gomez Dual Language Enrichment Model for English Language Learners. ELLs have instruction in their native language through at least fifth grade.
